So, Help us out a bit!
ByI have explained how a toll free number works about 150,000 times – really, I did the math. Sometimes the person I am talking with has a glimmer of understanding, sometimes full understanding, and then there are times that they look at me like no one could be more obscure. Attached are three drawings of how a toll free number works, and believe me, I not telling which one I did. So I am taking a vote and it is an important vote because it will be the drawing I use in every training, speech and on our website. Just for fun, you can vote on which one you think I drew too.
Example 1
Example 2
Example 3

Example 1, without a doubt. For tenured Telecom folks, or for newbies, this is a great depiction of “how it works”. Only problem is that is doesn’t really go into LCR/multi-Carrier routing, which is one of your most attractive selling points.
Example 1 is by far the best… so you must have been the one who put it together!
For sure example 3. And a close second is #2
Example 1 illustrates from soup to nuts everything that happens with the TFN. This would be the most useful to the general public. The other 2 would make sense to people who are in telecom. I guess you did all 3.
For the purpose of explaining this to a variety of people from sales reps to field techs to end users, example #1 is the most comprehensive & useful.
#1
#1. It’s concise and complete, allowing you to amplify certian points (like how #6/7 provides for multi-carrier routing). If I were explaining something for the 150,001th time, that’s the one I’d use.
