Director of ATL Prime Numbers
Jim started his career of over 20 years in the telecom industry at 1-800-For-Sale, Inc. In 1999, just five years later, he launched Signal One, Inc. which is one of the largest RespOrgs in North America to date. Jim immediately recognized a need for assisting people that had lost numbers in error and started a good works program that has reunited over 5,000 Toll Free numbers to their users. In 2002, Jim started a new program featuring misdial traffic combined with advertising that was an instant success. Several companies have since launched their own versions of this new marketing and it has changed the telecom industry and how carriers and telecom companies manage their networks.
In addition, Mr. King is a charter member of Somos User Group, with experience working on the ROC Committee, leading the Analytics Group, launching the Toll Free Traffic Pumping workshop, and helping design the Toll Free Systems of the future. Jim is an active member of both Incompas and CFSA allowing him to continue his research in the fight against toll free abuse and fraud.
